Primo's Deli
About This Spot
Stepping into Primo’s Deli on Bridge Street feels like discovering a well-kept neighborhood secret where familiar warmth greets you before you even order a bite. The pace here moves with an easy comfort, echoing the unhurried rhythm of a close-knit community spot where the hum of quiet conversations and the soft clatter of plates set a relaxed tone. It’s a place where the owners’ genuine hospitality shapes the space just as much as the aromas drifting from the kitchen.
The mood is gently inviting—a blend of the cozy deli counter and the vibrant spirit of Dominican flavors that make every visit feel like sharing a meal with family. Whether you’re quietly savoring a carefully crafted sandwich or drawn to one of the heartier plates filled with rich, soulful favorites passed down through generations, the experience is grounded in authenticity and a deep respect for tradition.
Here, dishes like the comforting rice and beans or the playful blend of flavors in mofongo unfold naturally as part of the story rather than a checklist. The offerings settle in your hands and stomach with satisfying generosity, encouraging you to pause and appreciate the honest nourishment that reflects both care and craft. It’s a spot where meals aren’t just fuel but moments to unwind and connect.
Visitors often note the kindness and attentiveness of the family behind the counter, who seem to know the pulse of the day and the rhythm of the neighborhood. Whether pausing their routine to welcome a late visitor or exchanging a lighthearted word, their presence adds a human layer to the simple pleasure of good food. Primo’s is as much about these small, joyful interactions as it is about the flavors on the plate—making it a quietly memorable place to return to again and again.

Delicious veggie burritos A perfect meal when you want something satisfying that will either cause you to over eat (cause it's so delicious) or split into two servings. Plates are heavy and food very tasty. Also the daughter and owners are very sweet.

Friendliest service ever; brightened my day. Even though I walked in just as they were preparing to close for the night, they offered to pause what they were doing to make a hot sandwich for me. The sandwich was very good and remarkably cheap for its level of quality too. My dad was standing outside in their parking lot awkwardly eating food from home while I was ordering (literally eating a plain baked chicken drumstick next to the car lol. Dads!). While I was waiting for my sandwich they went out, unprompted, and invited him inside to sit at their table with me while he ate. They even offered him some napkins. Couldn't believe how nice that was.

I’m new and never had deli sandwiches before. From start to finish this place feels like home. You gotta go.
